Kelly Bronze Turkeys
CONTEXT
Kyle had the opportunity to work on an editorial stills photography project for Virginia Living Magazine, documenting the story of Kelly Bronze turkeys in Virginia. This project took him to a local turkey farm, where he captured the daily life of over 500 turkeys raised with a focus on quality and sustainability.
APPROACH
The shoot highlighted the farm's dedication to preserving the Kelly Bronze breed, known for its rich flavor and traditional farming methods. Kyle documented everything from the turkeys in their natural environment to the hands-on work of the farmers, telling the story of the farm’s unique approach to poultry farming.
RESULTS
The images from this project were featured in Virginia Living Magazine, helping to showcase the heritage and craftsmanship behind Virginia's artisanal turkey farming. This project exemplifies Kyle's ability to capture the essence of local businesses and agricultural traditions.
