about
For years, explaining what I do has always been a little confusing. The conversation usually goes something like this:
“I’m a commercial photographer.”
“Oh, so you shoot weddings and stuff?”
Even calling myself a photographer sometimes feels like I’m only scratching the surface of what I’ve been asked to do since my career started in 2009.
As a commercial photographer born from East Coast grit, I’ve been asked to do a lot more than just take pictures. I’ve directed tourism campaigns, built large image libraries for major brands, and served as a visual consultant for organizations you definitely know.
At the core of it all, I just love images.
I think in images. Some of my favorite photographs are the ones where I didn’t even have a camera with me, but the moment is burned into my brain forever. My favorite campaigns are often the ones that clients couldn’t initially see because they thought the idea leaned too far into art.
The best way I’ve found to explain what I do is something a little broader.
I help brands of all sizes solve their imagery problems.
Sometimes that means using my background as an endurance athlete to chase runners and adventurers into remote places. Sometimes it means working with tourism organizations and destinations to build authentic visual campaigns. Other times, it means putting on a collared shirt and standing toe to toe with the C-suite of brands you invest in.
My business was founded on the East Coast after earning a degree in creative advertising from Virginia Commonwealth University. Richmond, Virginia, was the home base for many years. In 2025, I decided to expand my Commercial Photography business to Salt Lake City and help teams on the West Coast with their commercial Photography. My clients don’t really care where I live. They care about results.
I solve big problems for brands that need high-quality imagery.
I also happen to navigate airports better than most.
If it involves thoughtful, strategic photography, my team can help.
